Farzana Barucha was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She was born into a Parsi family. She started her career as a professional dancer and choreographer and then she became an actress in Telugu and Tamil films.
Farzana has done choreography for many fashion shows and albums. As a choreographer, she worked with the stage shows of Adnan Sami. Her most notable choreography was for the title song of the 2006 Sanjay Dutt movie Zinda. Farzana is a supermodel who appeared in print and television advertise -ments such as Hero Honda, Godrej Hair Care, Sansui TV, Big Bazaar and several other leading brands.
Farzana started her career with a comedy movie Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw which was the remake of the Bollywood comedy film Malamaal Weekly written and directed by Priyadarshan. Farzana was spotted by director Nidhi Prasad who signed her for a lead role in his movie Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw.
She has played the lead role in movies like Seema Sastri, Bommana Brothers Chandana Sisters, Gajibiji and Kuberulu all of which were comedy movies. She danced in the movie Mallepuvvu starring Muralikrishna and Bhumika Chawla. she was cast as a comedy movie heroine.
Farzana entered in to the kollywood film industry through a Tamil movie 1977 starring with Sarath Kumar and Namitha.
She enjoys adventure sports like paragliding, rock climbing, bungee jumping etc. She is a nutrition expert & she is trainer for the sportswear company Reebok International Limited. Now Farzana has married and settled in the U.S.
Farzana‘s dream role to play is Character of Rani Mukharjee’s in Black, Kajol’s Anjali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Madhuri Dixit, and Vijayashanti.
